I recently won first place in the 2011 Reportage Award, awarded by Kingston University! For my entry I spent some time with the Paramedics from St Heliers Ambulance station, going out in ambulances with them over a series of weekends to record the job from their point of view. I accumulated a lot of sketches and used some of these to create a giant ECG type scan, using my sketches amongst the heartbeats to describe a days work in the eyes of a London paramedic.
